Unit 7: You're good. I'm good. Everyone's good.

                                Scene 1: Growing together

Jiao Niang thought that life would get easier as the baby got older but that
was not the case. They faced different challenges, and there were differenc-
es in opinions between the couple and the grandparents. They had a discus-
sion about whether their son, Xiao Long, should attend preschool. The
grandparents finally agreed that as long as the couple made their decision
together, it would be fine. So, Jun Rong and Jiao Niang diligently
searched for a suitable preschool for Xiao Long.

                               Scene 2: Parenting differences

One day, after school, Jiao Niang was waiting for her
father-in-law and Xiao Long to come home, but they were late.
She received a phone call from her mother-in-law and heard that her
father-in-law took Xiao Long out for a snack. At dinner time, everyone
gathered around the table to eat, but Xiao Long said he couldn't eat and
lay his head on the table. Jiao Niang sensed something was wrong and saw
that Xiao Long had a fever. The couple quickly took him to see a doctor.
When they got home, Jiao Niang shared her concern with Jun Rong. She
explained that her father-in-law often took Xiao Long for snacks after
picking him up from school and he lost his appetite for dinner. Jiao Niang
hesitated to express her thoughts even though she doesn't think it's right.
Jun Rong agreed that his father who clearly loves his grandson, had
forgotten the importance of regular and balanced meals for the
child. He assured Jiao Niang not to worry and promised to talk
to his father about it. The couple then discussed how to
communicate this issue with the grandparents.
